Shaunna Hook is a Consultant at C3 Nonprofit Consulting Group. She is a strategic and solutions-driven advisor dedicated to empowering nonprofits with the tools for sustainable growth. With nearly ten years of experience in HR and compensation, she partners with organizations to create competitive, equitable, and motivational total rewards strategies that resonate with cross-generational talent.

Shaunna utilizes personal, data-driven approaches to ensure that solutions are tailor-made to meet the unique challenges and opportunities of each client.

Her experience includes:

  • Assisting with compensation policies, guidelines, and processes that support transparency, fairness, and compliance with regulations.
  • Assessing benefits programs and leading employee focus groups to gather insights on satisfaction, identify coverage gaps, and understand preferences that shape strategic benefits planning and design.

Before joining C3, Shaunna worked as a consultant with Nonprofit HR – an organization dedicated to strengthening the social impact sector. In this role, she collaborated with clients on multiple projects focused on competitive pay, pay philosophy and practices, benefits evaluation and management, total rewards communication, total compensation statements, and more. Shaunna Hook studied at Penn State University, earning a B.A. in Psychology, emphasizing Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She also attended Wake Forest University, where she earned a Master’s in Legal Studies with a focus on HR Compliance. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Innovation at Marymount University.
